When I came across this venue I just knew….yes this is the one.
I just knew my women would love it.
The perfect balance of luxurious, spacious yet cosy enough to find little nooks to lose yourself with a book and a cup of tea. This grand country home is located in the north of the Cotswolds around 15 minutes from Cirencester and roughly 2 hour drive from London.
Did someone mention a heated pool?
Grab your coat and a pair of wellies and feel the cold crisp air in your lungs- the retreat guests definitely made the most of the tranquil surroundings.
Imagine it being the thick of winter in February but knowing for the next three nights the only thing you have to ‘worry’ about is if you should change into your comfy clothes before or after your treatment. Bliss.
We started our days with a gorgeous Pilates session taught by Nathalie Clough. Trainer to celebrities such as Louise Roe, Binky Felstead and Liz Earle; Nathalie has an unmatched level of dedication and passion for Pilates. The feedback from the women who came on retreat was that they’ve never felt as aligned, stretched and in tune with their bodies. Take us back.
This retreat was all about getting more space.
Space to breathe. Space away from all the noise. Space to feel yourself again.
We were spoiled with the most delicious and nourishing food cooked by our in house chef Millie. There’s a reason I keep asking Millie to come cook on my retreats. Her food is just simply delicious, it’s nourishing yet colourful and fills you up.
Another requirement for a winter retreat? Afternoon cake with coffee/tea. Taken up to your room to enjoy in bed.
The. Dream.
You’re always giving, giving, giving.
This break is about you, doing things for you…it just happens to be in a beautiful venue with treatments on tap and hours on end to read a book, connect with likeminded women, be cooked for and simply well…retreat.
But, that’s enough from me. I’ll let you hear it from the Cotswolds retreat ladies themselves..
