So, you’ve signed up for a transformative retreat (yay, you!)—a chance to hit pause, reconnect with yourself, and realign with your intentions. Now comes the part where you stare at your suitcase and wonder, “What do I actually need?”

Don’t worry; we’ve got you covered. Packing for a retreat doesn’t need to feel like planning for an Arctic expedition. It’s all about comfort, functionality, and a sprinkle of self-care.

 


 

Here’s your ultimate guide:

1. Leggings and Workout Clothes

You’ll be moving, stretching, and most importantly relaxing so comfy activewear is a must. Bonus: if you forget something, there’s a perk to having set up a sustainable activewear for five years…I always come ready with a rail of Evamoso activewear with a hefty discounts for my retreat guests. 

 

2. Reusable Water Bottle

Hydration is key, especially when you’re resetting your body and mind. Bring your trusty water bottle to stay refreshed during Pilates sessions, scenic walks, and moments of reflection.

 

3. The Comfiest Clothes You Own

I mean this when I say it. Think cozy sweaters, soft loungewear, and anything you’d wear for an afternoon of journaling with a warm cup of tea or walks around the beautiful grounds. If you love getting dressed up in the evening bring something fun to wear, there are no rules…whatever you feel good in. There’s always around 50/50 of those who rock up to dinner in their leggings and those who feel like sprucing up. It’s all up to you.

 

4. Swimwear

If the retreat location boasts a heated pool (ours often does), bring your favorite swimsuit. Trust us, there’s nothing like a relaxing dip to cap off a day of mindfulness. 

 

5. A Journal and Pen

Retreats are all about reflection, so bring a journal to capture those “aha” moments, inspiring thoughts, or simply to jot down any new exciting thoughts that come to mind. 

 

6. BOOKS, and magazines!

I know it’s a novel idea but you will actually have time to read. I know, shock horror. So bring that mindset book you’ve been meaning to get into or that juicy rom com you’ve only haven’t to read a page of before zonking out at night. Now, is your time.

 

7. Curiosity & an open mind 

Okay, you can’t pack these, but they’re essential nonetheless. Your retreat is a time to let go of stress and embrace a new way of thinking. Come ready to laugh, cry, connect, and grow.
